Role of NPK
Nitrogen (N): Promotes vigorous growth of foliage and stems and improves yield.
Phosphorus (P2O5): Promotes root growth and stimulates flowering.
Potash (K2O): Increases stem strength and plays an important role in the size, colour and flavour of fruit.
How to use
New lawns and patch repair
Before planting, prepare seed bed by spreading at a rate of 15 kg per 8 m2 (86 sq. ft.) and rake into the top 15 cm (6 in) of soil. Sow seed and water soil until moistened.
Flower beds ans vegetable gardens
Apply before hot weather at a rate of 15 kg per 8 m2 (86 sq. ft.) as an ideal mulch and plant food for vigorous summer growth.
Top dressing established lawns
- Apply in early spring and again in September.
- Rake to remove debris and loosen existing soil. Spread this product to an even depth of 1-2 cm (0.5-1 in).
- Water soil until moistened.
- When overseeding, spread C-I-L® Grass Seed, then water gently but thoroughly.
Evergreens, trees and shrubs
- Apply around trees and shrubs at a rate of 2 kg/m2 and mix into the top 5 cm (2 in) of soil.
- When using with new plants, mix one part of this product with three parts of C-I-L® Soil to fill back.
- Water soil until moistened.
Precaution
- Wash hands after use.
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Storage
Store product sealed in original container, in a dry place.
Disposal
If it becomes unusable, or there is no intention to reuse it, add to compost bin or dispose according to provincial and municipal regulations.*
