How to use
Established lawns
- Mow your lawn to a height of 5 cm (2 in.) and pull out weeds.
- Evenly spread one bag over 5 m2 (54 ft2). Use to fill in depressions and create a perfectly leveled surface. For optimal results, use twice as much soil to promote deeper root growth.
- Overseed with C-I-L® Grass Seed to fill bare areas and prevent weeds.
- Keep surface moist for 15 days.
- Apply C-I-L® Lawn Food 6 to 8 weeks after new grass emerges.
Starting a new lawn (seed or sod)
- Remove weeds as needed.
- Spread 15 cm of lawn soil and work into the existing soil. Check out our calculator to know how much to use.
- Level the soil by raking the surface until it’s even.
- Spread C-I-L® Grass Seed as recommended, or lay sod.
- Keep the soil moist until establishment.
- Apply C-I-L® Lawn Food 6 to 8 weeks after new grass emerges, or once the sod is well rooted.
