BIOMAX™ Mushroom Compost
C-I-L® BIOMAX™ Mushroom Compost is a by-product from mushroom farming that improves aeration and water retention in the soil. It is a naturally weed-free, non-burning alternative to compost that helps improve:

- Soil aeration to increase the roots' ability to absorb nutrients and oxygen;
- Water retention to decrease the risk of plant dehydration.

How to use
Roses, shrubs and trees
- Fill 1/3 of the planting hole with this compost.
- Place the plant in the hole and fill in areas around the root ball with a mixture of existing soil and this product.
New lawns and lawn patch repair
- Prepare seed bed by spreading this product at a rate of 12.5 kg per 6 m2 (65 sq. ft.) and rake into top 10 cm (4 in) of soil.
- Sow grass seed and water soil until moistened.
Top dressing established lawns
- Rake to remove debris and loosen existing soil.
- Apply at the rate of 12.5 kg per 12.5 m2 (135 sq. ft.) (or 1 cm thick), in early spring and again in September.
- When overseeding, spread C-I-L® Grass Seed, then water gently but thoroughly.
Top dressing existing flower beds and vegetable gardens
- Rake to remove debris and loosen existing soil.
- Spread 1-2 cm (0.5-1 in) evenly over lawn.
- Rake again to mix soils together.
- Water to moisten soil.

Storage
Store product sealed in original container, in a dry place.
Disposal
If it becomes unusable, or there is no intention to reuse it, add to compost bin or dispose according to provincial and municipal regulations.*
