How to use

Use ONLY on established lawns (more than 2 years old) and when phosphorus concentrations in the soil are high. Do not use on newly seeded lawns, recently laid sod, or lawns that are diseased or subjected to environmental stresses. 

Use a spreader to apply. Do not apply by hand.

1. Aerate your lawn in early spring, once the ground is no longer water-logged. 
2. Rake and remove debris.
3. Fill spreader on a solid surface, never on your lawn.
   (This product contains iron and may stain hard surfaces. Sweep up any product spill.)
4. Set spreader opening according to its brand and model, and as recommended on the packaging.
   CAUTION: too much fertilizer can burn the lawn. This product is guaranteed burn-proof if used as recommended
   on the packaging. 
5. Do not apply by hand. Wearing gloves and safety glasses is recommended. 
6. To ensure even coverage, apply in two passes, in a criss-cross pattern (first lengthwise, and then widthwise).
7. Close spreader when stopping or turning.
8. Water fertilizer in to ensure maximum absorption.

Tips

• Apply in spring to help prevent weeds.
• Set mower height to 7.5 cm (3 in.) and leave grass clippings on the lawn. (In cold or humid weather, or if the grass is very long, use your mower bag to collect grass clippings.)
• Use correct spreader setting for the brand/model you have.
• Water fertilizer in to get fast, effective results.
• Do not apply near bodies of water, if heavy rain is expected, to frozen ground or at a higher application rate than recommended on the label. 
• Do not apply on wet grass unless planning on irrigating afterwards.
• To fix bare areas, prepare the soil with C-I-L^® Enriched Lawn Soil and apply IRON+^™ Rapid Lawn Sun & Shade Grass Seed 13-0-0. 

Wearing gloves and safety glasses is recommended.

CAUTION: This product contains iron and should be used only as recommended. It may prove harmful when misused.

Precaution

Avoid inhaling dust. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves and safety glasses when handling and applying the product. If inhaled, provide fresh air. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Wash hands after use.

Storage

Store in a dry place in original container. Keep well sealed after use and out of the reach of children and pets.

Disposal

Recycle empty packaging or discard with household garbage, as applicable.

NOTE: Spreader settings are guidelines only. Coverage varies with walking speed. To ensure accurate coverage, walk at a normal pace. For other spreaders, apply at 2.5 kg per 100 m2 (5.6 lb per 1 076 ft²). Contact us directly for all other spreader settings. This product may not provide all nutrients required and should be used as part of a complete fertilization program, based on soil testing.
