Mushrooms in Your Lawn?

Mushrooms are developing in your lawn and you'd like to get rid of them? Know that this phenomenon is quite common in lawns, especially in the fall. Those mushrooms are actually the fructifications of a vast network of mycelia (root-like whitish filaments) that are breaking down a stump or wood structure under the surface of the soil. 

To fix the problem, you need to remove all of the wood where mushrooms have appeared. As this operation can be expensive and cause damage to your yard, tolerance is probably best. Still, you can destroy the mushroom fructifications as soon as they appear. Leave the remains there, they will disappear within a few hours.
